RSPCA Policy F7 Transportation of wild animals for slaughter

7.1RSPCA Australia is opposed to the transport of native or introduced wild animals for slaughter because of the inevitable suffering involved.
7.2Where wild animals are selected for killing under a government supervised management program, they should be humanely killed in situ to avoid unnecessary stress and poor welfare outcomes associated with transport.
